The EULiST Mission
From Europe’s metropolitan areas to rural regions, our diversity and complementarity drive our ambition for a joint strategy toward a European University. Guided by shared values—equality, inclusion, democracy, and cooperation—we promote interdisciplinary research while ensuring academic freedom, open data, and open science to serve society.
Aligned with EUA’s 2030 Vision: Universities without Walls, we aim to enhance compatibility across education and research systems through the Europeanisation and internationalisation of EULiST’s community. In synergy with the European Education Area, we support mobility, innovation, sustainable development, lifelong learning, and future-proof skills for the green and digital transitions.
At EULiST, we act as a model by combining strengths in technology and research to offer innovative solutions, creating synergies with other European Universities for the European Strategy for Universities 2022.
Focused on interlinking knowledge in STEM and SSH, we address societal challenges like climate change, digital transition, and social cohesion. EULiST promotes challenge-based learning to train future generations in building a sustainable, globally engaged Europe.
